The musical based on the stories ’Good bye to Berlin ‘by Christopher Isherwood is set in Berlin in the late 1920’s as the Nazi’s start their rise to power. American writer Clifford Bradshaw visits the notorious Kit Kat Club where he meets the English singer Sally Bowles. Their love affair and that of Cliff’s landlady and a Jewish greengrocer are played out against a background of mounting political violence.
