YOH Festival - Goldfields Heats

YOH FEST - WA’S BIGGEST SHOWCASE OF YOUTH PERFORMING & VISUAL ARTS HEADS TO KALGORLIE FOR 2012

Each year a health theme is chosen for YOH Fest (Youth on Health Festival) and this year, students will be asked to create their performances around “Substance Abuse”. Categories for entries into YOH Fest are Dance, Drama, Monologue/Duologue, Short Film and Visual Art.

Schools will participate in heats held across the State, all vying for a place in the Grand Finals, held in Mandurah in October.  This year YOH Fest will travel to six regions within WA: Great Southern, Goldfields, Metropolitan, Peel, Pilbara and the Kimberley.

Come along and support your local schools as the young artist participants construct and perform their own dance sequence, drama play, art piece or media production to depict core messages around the 2012 youth health theme – Substance Abuse.
